I’m a New Haven concert photographer with a passion for capturing the raw energy of live music. My path into photography began on the other side of the stage. I used to work as a roadie and provided freelance web support for Pearl Drums, which gave me an inside look at the industry long before I ever picked up a camera.
Since 2010, I’ve been photographing concerts with a style that leans into bold colors, motion, and atmosphere. Whether it's an indoor theater show, a packed arena, or a summer festival, I focus on creating live music photography that feels like you’re right there in the moment. I primarily work with touring bands and national acts, capturing the kind of performance that leaves a lasting impression.
In addition to photography, I also write about concerts. My coverage blends visuals and storytelling to give readers a full-sensory snapshot of the live music experience. I regularly contribute photos and written reviews to The Waster and Melodia Magazine, where I get to combine two things I love: music and words.
Over the years, I’ve photographed artists like John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band, Hozier, The Roots, Noah Kahan, and The Avett Brothers. I’ve also had the privilege of working directly with bands such as Dispatch, Ripe, Umphrey’s McGee, and Slightly Stoopid. One of my proudest moments was having one of my photos used as the back cover of a Dispatch album.
I’m mostly self-taught but studied video and film production in college. I shoot because it’s fun, and I want that feeling to show in every frame. My goal is to create images that make people feel like they missed something unforgettable.
Outside of photography and writing, I’m usually hanging with my cats Olive and Ahsoka, catching a Bruins game, cooking something new, or experimenting with cocktails. Fernet is my go-to. I’m also a huge Star Wars fan and always down for a good conversation about it.
