I have been a Dispatch fan for as long as I can remember. Seeing them so much through New England has allowed me to foster friendships with the band members. Over the years, I've photographed Dispatch at concerts for various music blogs, outlets, and solo work for the band. It just so happened that they have an archive of all of my photos on hand and one day in 2019, I received an email that they wanted to purchase licensing rights to a photo I took at a concert to use on the back cover of a live album they were releasing. I couldn't believe it when I saw the email and responded immediately that I agreed to license the photo.
Above is the photo they licensed from me. A few months after they had initially reached out, I received a package in the mail - a signed CD from the band. And then, even a few months after that, I received another package - a copy of this album pressed on vinyl. This is one of the singular highlights of my career.
